Where from: USA

It has been said “There is no greater honor than to be in service to the people”. For me, this is a truth that encompasses all of creation; one, which I embrace!

My spiritual awakening began 34 years ago with the passing of my parents, seven years apart. Acting upon a series of synchronistic events and opportunities, I stepped into an ongoing journey of self-discovery and my life’s purpose.

After spending ten years in a corporate environment, I “stepped out of the box” and, as an entrepreneur selling Native American Jewelry & Art, traveled across the US several times a year for ten years, until 2000, when I was introduced to the Center for Peace in Seymour, Tennessee where I attended a workshop on Huna Shamanism. I have been an active member of the community since that weekend.

Having met Jeanne White Eagle and John Pehrson when I participated in a “Community Building” Workshop they facilitated, I have supported and been a part of the “For The One” Community and Dances from the beginning, serving as the International Coordinator since 2005, in addition to being trained as a Community Building Facilitator.

In honoring my commitment to service, in 1998, I became an ordained priest in the Order of Melchizedek, a non-denominational order of healers and have been attuned as a third-degree Reiki practitioner in addition to the energy of Magnified Healing, the Three-fold Flame of the Heart, under the auspices of Quan Yin, the Buddhist Deity of Compassion.

Since 2000, I have served many Dances and have been blessed to experience each capacity of service multiple times. First, and foremost, I am a Dancer, having danced the Sun Moon Dance under John Pehrson’s leadership for 4 years. When John honored his vision and embraced the energies of the Star Dance, my enthusiasm was beyond words. Having danced this dance for three years, for me, the Star Dance is an opportunity to acknowledge and embrace our cosmic relatives who are willing to support us in our transitional process, personally as well as collectively. It has been the catalyst for my ongoing life-changing experiences and evolving awareness.

We each bring our own vibration and gifts, based on personal experiences, to everything we do. It is with an open heart and deep gratitude, to John and Spirit, for the opportunity to serve as Co-Chief, that I offer myself in service and invite you to join us in dancing the 2011 Star Dance.
